The history of the club can be traced back to the past and up to 2009 the club was known as TC Slávia Trnava. The transformation of the club from a civic association to a Stock Corporation in September 2006 is considered as a significant milestone, because it enabled the building of its sate of the art tennis complex and the organization of important international tennis events.

In 2013 the Club TC EMPIRE Trnava achieved 3th place in the rating of Slovak clubs and we can proudly claim that Trnava is now again one of strongholds of Slovak tennis.

Currently, the club trains more than 160 children of all age categories, 80 of them have valid registration cards and are eligible to represent our club tournaments. The club established its Center for professional tennis and the Youth Training Center to support its best players, and currently between 9 and 6 players take advantage of these facilities.

However, our Club doesn't forget leisure players for whom there is the option of playing using either season or hourly tickets.

The top men's tennis competition - Extra league is played in Trnava, where the team has the support of Karol Beck. The Club has managed to reform its women's team, and last season they fought hard for promotion to the Extra league, only missing out by a hair's breadth.

Nine teams entered youth competitions last season, and four of them managed to take part in the Slovak Tennis Championship. It is also important to mention the successes of the youngest players of the club, where in the under 9 years categories, both boys and girls teams of TC EMPIRE Trnava represented the club in the Kid's Davis and Fed Cups.

Six tennis trainers, two condition trainers and one physiotherapist work in the club. The club aims to provide a comprehensive care regime for players, starting with tennis and fitness conditioning but also including injury rehabilitation.

The main target of the club for next season is to provide a comprehensive capability to ensure a professional standard of sport preparation for children and players of the club, together with the aim to expand players' base with the emphasis on children preparatory trainings. One of the priorities of the club is also the organisation and promotion of the tennis events, which offer high quality sports competition to attract sport fans from Trnava and throughout Slovakia.
