EMPIRE Womens Indoor 2015 (Prize Money 10,000 USD, hard) was Sevastova's second tournament in this year and she has received the wild card for the event. In the final's first set, she strongly dominated and allowed let Jani play just one game, but the Hungarian was able to resist in the second set more. She was leading 5-2, but ultimately lost the final match. "It was a tough match. Jani played very well in the second set. She was close to winning. It was a big fight. I'm happy to get through it. I think I kept fighting at 2-5, I was just pushing myself because she played unbelievable points. I was better in tiebreak," told Sevastova for www.tcempire.sk website.Sevastova won the EMPIRE Trnava Cup tournament in 2012 so she has great memories of our club.

"I like the place here and I'm happy that I won with a wild card. I played the second tournament here and for the second time I have won. I will come back to Trnava if I get another wild card, maybe," smiled Sevastova who is enjoying tennis again after she had announced retirement from the game after injuries in May 2013. "I didn't expect anything here, I just wanted to be healthy and play. It's nice to be back on the court. I have some problems with my leg but it is because I played a lot of matches on the hard court here, so it will be ok." Sevastova is not only singles winner in Trnava but also doubles winner together with the Austrian player Heil.

Reka-Luca Jani had problem with the Sevastova's aggressive style of play in the final. "It was a very good match, especially the second set. In the first set, she was so aggressive, she put so much pressure on me that I couldn't win the points. In the second set, I played little bit more aggressive. I was first seeded so I was hoping that I could reach this final. I'm happy that I could do it, because every match was really difficult. I played here many times before. It has always been a pleasure to be here. TC Trnava is one of the best clubs I have ever seen,“ added Reka-Luca Jani.
